Join other Duchenne families for a (virtual) race to the world’s great destinations – all while fundraising from the convenience of your own home, local area or wherever you like!

We are delighted to be an official Charity Friend of the Superhero Series powered by Marvel. It is important to us to be able to offer inclusive events, making sure those living with Duchenne, their siblings, their parents and other family members and friends can all take part and make memories.

Who can join?

Everyone is welcome. All we ask is that all solo entrants, or at least one team member, considers themselves to have a disability of any kind.

How?

Everyone who enters this super mission will be put into one of four virtual SUPER TEAMS, made up of legions Superheroes & Sidekicks from far & wide, all working together towards a common goal. This year, the super-fun theme is iconic party destinations around the world. You’ll be sent a link to your unique ‘log your super distance’ webpage where you can enter any distances you clock up over the month & watch your SUPER TEAM’S progress on a Super World Map!

You set your own super distance & can use all kinds of ‘gadgets & gismos’ to complete your chosen mission, from day & powerchairs to adaptive bikes & trikes, trampolines, paddling pools, roller skates, Super Senses & more! Whatever suits your own unique superpowers best.

Plus, Superheroes can team up with Sidekick family & friends to share the work & the fun! You can complete your chosen goal over one day, a few days, or use the whole month. Anything goes!

Using your Super Senses

If you prefer to use your Super Senses to complete your mission – from touch & taste to super sniffing skills – visit www.superheroseries.co.uk/super-sensory for some super ideas, or feel free to create your own. Then simply convert each sensory achievement into 1km towards your super goal!

Register for your place

Registration is FREE and includes Superheros and Sidekicks.

Note: We currently have only 1 place left available, for an individual superhero. You can still support your superhero but can’t register yourself as a sidekick. However we can contact the event organisers and see if they can still send you an official t-shirt!

We ask all our Superhero teams to pledge and commit to raising a minimum of £20 to help fund our vital, life-saving work.

You will receive:

*Support from our fundraising team from the moment you sign up

*Fundraising support and materials to help you generate and smash your target

*An Action Duchenne running vest for you to wear with pride PLUS t-shirts for friends and family who want to cheer you on

Super Race Packs

For all your super work, each participant will receive a Super Race Pack in the post before the mission, including a medal, T-shirt & finish line tape for those super celebratory finish-line moments! Don’t forget to don your capes & capture your missions to share with our super community!
