Science on Tour is brand new for 2024!
Behind the scenes at Action Duchenne, our Science Communication team have been working hard to put together 2024 Science on Tour Programme. It’s full of NEW content, NEW interactive activities and the LATEST updates on research.
Our first Science on Tour Workshop will be in Oxford on Tuesday June 11th, running from 10.30am-3pm.
The workshops are FREE to attend and offer unbiased information in an accessible way. It is also a great way to meet with the Action Duchenne team who can provide support and signpost you to other resources. Lunch and refreshments will be included. The small group sessions are opportunities for families to share their experiences and develop support networks with other families in their local area who understand what they are going through. They are also a brilliant way for those involved in caring for someone with Duchenne in an educational or clinical setting to gain vital knowledge and understanding, and for families to meet the faces behind the professionals in their child’s care team. We’ll be updating you with more of our 2024 locations very soon – watch this space!
