Part 1 – Working with a disability

Duchenne Mum and Disability Employment Adviser, Tracey Coleman will be sharing her decades of knowledge and you are invited to join us!

Tracey will not only share her experiences from her working life, but also from her son (pictured) Mike’s personal experience when he was looking for work.  For those that have not taken part in one of our webinars yet, we are always keen to welcome new faces so please feel free to join us. The sessions are relaxed, informal and we always open up the opportunity for you to ask questions.

Part 2 – Finding a job

Founder of Evenbreak, the UK’s most accessible job board, Jane Hatton will help you to understand more about how to find a job.

What you will learn?

  • * Jane will share her expertise on finding a job including applications, interviews and disability confident employers
  • * Find out how Evenbreak advertise job vacancies for those with disabilities
  • * How to promote the advantages of employing somebody with a disability to employers.

Everyone welcome

Jane founded Evenbreak in 2011 to solve a couple of big problems; employers struggled to attract disabled candidates and disabled candidates couldn’t tell which employers were inclusive.  Jane has a degenerative spinal condition which means she mostly works lying down with a laptop suspended above her.
