Ellie and Hayden Howell have appeared on a full page spread in this Morning’s First News (children’s newspaper).
The feature is to raise awareness of Jeans for Genes day this September.

The full page feature is the result of a presentation Ellie gave at the Action Duchenne International Conference last year.
This is the moment 14 year old Ellie bravely presented her perspective as an older sibling at the hugely popular ‘Sibling Stories’ session.
So proud of Ellie today. She stood up in front of a room full of parents, siblings, and boys with Duchenne, and spoke so eloquently about her life, and what it’s like to have a brother with Duchenne. Not a dry eye in the house!
