Last week, we invited Duchenne Grandparents to come together to share their experiences and meet others in a similar situation.
It was a tremendous success! It was wonderful to hear the group share their thoughts, worries and support. The newly diagnosed Grandparents were able to get advice and helpful ideas from the others, along with having a safe space to share their concerns. We also had a giggle too!
As it was so successful, and at the Grandparents’ request, we have arranged a second meet up, at 8pm on Wednesday 28 October.
